How does a first injectables appointment work?
Every Botox booking includes a consultation and a health intake form with registered nurse Tricia DeSantis. She reviews your history and goals, explains the options, risks and price, and treats only if you decide to go ahead. She works under the supervision of medical director Joseph A. Russo, MD.
Intake form
Health history, medications, supplements, allergies and previous injections.
Consultation
The nurse looks at the area at rest and in movement, and explains the plan, the amount of product, the price and the risks.
Treatment
Botox blocks the nerve signals that make certain facial muscles contract, relaxing the muscles behind frown lines for a limited time. Fillers add volume and shape to the cheeks or lips.
Aftercare
Follow the nurse’s written aftercare. Seek medical care right away for trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing, vision changes, or skin turning pale or dusky.
This page is general information, not medical advice. Your nurse confirms what is right for you at the consultation.

Questions about Botox, fillers and vitamin injections
Who performs the injections and who supervises them?
Registered nurse Tricia DeSantis performs them, under medical director Joseph A. Russo, MD.
How much is Botox?
Botox is from $11 per unit, with the consultation and intake form included; the total depends on the number of units. A consultation only is $11. Ask for the total in writing before treatment.
Can I get Botox the same day as the consultation?
Yes, if you book “Botox”: the consultation is included and treatment can follow. Book “Botox consultation” if you only want to talk first.
How are filler prices set?
At the consultation, based on the product and amount the nurse recommends. No filler price is published online.
How should I prepare?
List your medications and supplements for the intake form, avoid booking right before a big event, and ask your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication.
How is Botox different from filler?
Botox relaxes muscles that cause some expression lines. Filler adds volume, most often to the lips and cheeks. They are different treatments with different risks.
Can I use a gift card for injectables?
Ask the front desk at (978) 624-7994 before buying. Gift cards are sold online.
What is the cancellation policy?
Changes need 24 hours’ notice: a late cancellation or change is charged 50% of the service, and a missed appointment is charged in full, to the card that holds the booking.
