What happens during a custom facial?
The Signature Custom Facial follows four steps, each adjusted after the esthetician analyzes your skin: a deep pore cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions and a treatment mask. The 80-minute Deluxe adds corrective serums, an upgraded mask and an extended face, neck and shoulder massage.
Skin analysis
Your esthetician looks at your skin type and concerns and chooses the products for each step.
Deep pore cleanse and exfoliation
Makeup, oil and dead skin cells are removed with a cleanse and a gentle exfoliation.
Extractions
Blackheads and clogged pores are extracted.
Mask and finish
A nourishing mask chosen for your skin. In the 80-minute Deluxe, serums and a longer face, neck and shoulder massage come next.
Who are facials for, and when should I choose something else?
Facials suit routine skin care, a first spa visit, teenagers with breakouts and anyone with congestion on the back. They are not the tool for deep wrinkles or loose skin, and they do not replace a dermatologist for rashes, infections or a skin condition that needs a diagnosis.
A good fit if you
- want monthly care for clean, balanced skin
- are new to Spalenza and want a facial adjusted to your skin
- have a teenager dealing with oil, clogged pores or breakouts
- get congestion or rough skin on the back and shoulders
- want an event-ready, smooth surface: Glow & Smooth
Not the right choice if you
- want to lift loose skin: ask about TriBella or injectables
- have an active rash, infection or open wounds: see a dermatologist first
- are pregnant and considering a peel, microneedling or IPL: book a custom facial and talk to your doctor
What do clients say about Spalenza facials?
Recent Google reviews mention facials adjusted to each person’s skin concerns, the extra massage time in the 80-minute facial and Pam (Pamela), the manager and esthetician who leads many of the facials, by name.
“Pam really understood my skin concerns and catered my facial to what I needed. I left with the most glowy skin and can't wait to go back in four weeks!”
“Dariana gave the best spa facial!! She has a very soothing voice and a very friendly personality. I will definitely be back soon. She really puts a lot of effort into the massage portion. I recommend the 80 minute facial because she has longer for the massage. Highly recommend!!”
“If I could give 10 stars, I would. Pam was amazing, she has the best hands.. I went for a facial with a derma plane add-on and got more than I expected. The massage afterwards was wonderful. I highly recommend Spalenza spa, and I highly recommend Pam. It was a wonderful experience.”

Custom facial or HydraFacial: what is the difference?
A custom facial is hands-on, with manual extractions and massage. HydraFacial uses a vortex device to cleanse, extract and hydrate in set steps, starting at 30 minutes. Pick the custom facial for relaxation and HydraFacial for a quick, device-based cleanse.
| Custom facial | HydraFacial | |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | Manual steps, products chosen for your skin | Vortex device with serums |
| Time | 50 or 80 min | 30, 60 or 80 min |
| Massage | Included; longer in the 80-minute Deluxe | Mechanical lymphatic drainage in Platinum |
